Sacred Places; Gables, Miami

photo

Sometimes you just really need to sit down, pause and breathe.

Sometimes you just need to take a moment and disappear to one of your sacred places in this world, -everyone has one.-

Sometimes you just need to go to your refugee, your cave, your secret soot and your comfortable zone.

Sometimes you just need to go back to nature, where your truly belong, where we all come from.
Sometimes you just need to walk by bug ancient oats, walk across acres of green grass and let the wind guide you. No rush, no direction, no thinking, no talk.

Sometimes you just need to be there and contemplate everything else in movement where you are still, in a blank state of peace and mind.

Sometimes you just need to stop by Gables and free yourself from worries, schedules, judgments an deadlines.

Let your body do the work. Just walk. Gables in Miami, is a beautiful neighborhood and perfect place to get lost. A place to just enjoy yourself while surrounded by centenary big oats, endless palm tress, exotic birds and streets named like different places in Spain that were once conquest and named after.

Soft music, quiet background, cloudy sky and a tall hot latte.
Grandmothers buying big cones of sweetness for their grandchildren. strawberry, chocolate and vanilla all over the face, – the little ones the just don’t care, they limit themselves enjoy.-

Sometimes you just need to stop everything for a second and listen to those kids yelling “I want more” , even if they haven’t finished yet; -then you might realize that life is truly about simple scenes.

It is okay to feel nostalgic or a little taste of bittersweetness this means that we are alive and we should be grateful for that.

Life is about the moments we imagine and then make happen
